Auckland airport limo transfers: a planning checklist

An airport trip runs to a fixed time, so a few details sorted in advance make the difference. Check these before you request a quote.

• Which way you are going. To the airport, from the airport, or both on different dates.
• Your terminal. Auckland Airport has separate domestic and international terminals. Tell us which one, since the pickup and drop-off points are in different places.
• Your flight number. Add it to the notes of your request, along with your scheduled time.
• Your group size. One limo carries up to 10 passengers. For larger groups, book both limos for up to 20.
• Your bags. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, sports gear or a pram, ask about this in the notes of your quote request.
• Every address. Your pickup or drop-off address, plus any extra stops, such as collecting a friend on the way.

What to tell us, and what a transfer costs

Airport transfers start from $400 one-way. The exact price depends on your pickup address, the date and time, any extra stops, and whether you need one limo or both. 1. Occasion: choose Airport transfer.
2. Date and pickup time: for departures, the time you want to leave home or your hotel. For arrivals, your scheduled landing time.
3. Limo, passengers and hours: white Falcon, black Lincoln or both, and how many are travelling.
4. Pickup suburb and destination: for example, Remuera to the international terminal.
5. Your details and notes: flight number, terminal, extra pickups and any questions.

Routes

Getting to and from Auckland Airport

• From the CBD and central suburbs. Trips usually run via SH20, either through the Waterview Tunnel or across from SH1. Peak-hour traffic on these routes can vary a lot, so give yourself a buffer before a departure.
• From the North Shore. Most trips cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge, though the Western Ring Route via SH18 and SH16 is another option depending on traffic.
• From East Auckland. Pickups in Howick, Pakuranga and Botany usually head through Manukau to reach the airport.
• From West Auckland. Trips often use SH16 and SH20 through Waterview.

Transfer types

Which airport transfer do you need?

Every Auckland Airport limo transfer starts from $400 one-way in a chauffeur-driven stretch limo for up to 10 passengers. What changes is the planning. Find your trip below and put the details it mentions in your quote request.

Domestic or international terminal?

Auckland Airport has separate domestic and international terminals. They are close together but not the same building, so tell us which one you are flying from or into. Most flights within New Zealand use the domestic terminal; check your booking to be sure. Domestic trips are often short turnarounds, so a booked return can save time.

International arrivals

An international arrival is less predictable than a departure. After landing you still clear passport control, baggage claim and biosecurity, and that time varies day to day. We do not claim to track flights, so give your flight number and scheduled arrival time, and update us if anything changes. Agree where your chauffeur will wait and how you will find each other before the day.

Meet and greet pickups

For someone arriving who has never been to Auckland, send us:

• Flight number and scheduled arrival time (Auckland time)
• Terminal: domestic or international
• Lead passenger’s name and a mobile that works in New Zealand
• Number of passengers and a rough count of bags
• Drop-off address and any access notes

Families and luggage

Tell us the ages of any children. Children under 7 must use an approved child restraint where one is available, so ask about seats in your quote request or bring your own (see our limo safety and licensing guide). Give a rough count of suitcases plus prams, car seats or bulky items so we can confirm they fit, and mention any mobility needs.

Business travellers and teams

One limo seats up to 10 on side seating; book both limos for 11 to 20 people so a leadership team or delegation travels together. If people arrive on different flights, list each flight in the notes. Add your company name in the notes, and see corporate limo hire for meeting days and events.

Airport to the CBD, Viaduct and hotels

Travel time between the airport and the city changes a lot with the time of day. Allow extra time on:

• Weekday mornings and late afternoons
• Friday afternoons and the start of school holidays
• Big event nights at Spark Arena or the Viaduct
• Nights with motorway roadworks or closures
